Gaya Baru Indah is a traditional Indonesian Phinisi.
She has a total capacity of 8 guests in 2 double and 2 twin cabins making for a cozy atmosphere perfect for a group of friends / family or people that like to avoid the crowds.
There is plenty of room on deck to find your personal favorite lounging spot. It might be the bowsprit, the foredeck, the sun beds on the main deck or one of the two upper decks.
In the daytime they set up awnings to provide shade and protect you and the decks from the hot tropical sun and at night they remove them to get a good look at the stars.

The cook prepares 3 delicious meals a day plus snacks to make sure you are well fed and have the energy for diving and exploring.
On board they serve a mix of Indonesian and International cuisine and there is a free flow of coffee, tea and drinking water at all times, just help yourself.
Cold soft drinks, beer and wine are available at a reasonable price on board.

Prices are per person per trip and based on 2 persons sharing a cabin.
Exact pricing is available on the schedule here as prices vary dependant on the time of year, destination and the length of the trip and sometimes special offers are available.

Dive insurance is mandatory as is your own personal dive computer (You can rent one for the trip if you do not have your own).
We suggest Dive Assist Dive Insurance to you for your trip for basic dive insurance.
As well as the Mandatory Dive Insurance we highly recommend Trip and Travel Insurance on the off chance of missed or cancelled flights / lost baggage, documents, money or passport / Covid issues or any other unforeseen problems that could possibly occur.
Dive Assure Insurance offers cover for all these eventualities as well as complete Dive Insurance all in one package.

Booking Payment and Cancellation Terms and Conditions.
Booking deposit: 30% of your invoice total is required within 7 days of booking to confirm your booking.
Final payment of 70% is due to 90 days prior to the departure date to complete your invoice payment.
Individual bookings made less than 90 days before the departure date will be payable in full upon booking to confirm your booking.
Cancellation at any stage involves forfeit of monies already paid.
Payment can be made via Credit or Debit card (Visa, AMEX, Mastercard), Revolut pay, Wise, Bank transfer or Apple and Google pay at no extra charge.

On Gaya Baru Indah the cruises are in the Papua and Malukku provinces of Indonesia which is Raja Ampat, Triton Bay and the Banda Sea.
The cruises last from 7 to 12 days depending on the route and they change the routes frequently, so if you are looking for a long cruise, you can combine 2 cruises and enjoy 2 entirely different journeys.
For example combine Raja Ampat to Triton Bay with Triton Bay to the Banda Sea and enjoy a great adventure for 24 days.

Guests can check in on the ship between 8:00 and 10:00 on departure day.

The shaded dive deck has a u-shaped bench with tank holders for 22 scuba tanks with a choice of DIN and Yoke valves, space for gear underneath, hangers for wetsuits and a rinsing tank for your cameras and torches.

On the Gaya Baru Indah they dive in small groups of no more than 4 divers (2 buddy teams) with a guide.
They offer Nitrox EAN32 on all dives for free. If you are not certified for the use of Nitrox, they also offer the NAUI Nitrox Diver course on board.
The max dive time is 60 minutes or 50 bar.
The max depth is 30 meters. This is in regard to the remoteness of our dive sites.
All dives are done from one of our RIB speedboats. The speedboat stays with the dive group and picks you up at the end of your dive.
On regular diving days we offer 3 dives a day plus a night dive twice a week.
There is reduced or no diving on departure days and when the ship makes a long passage in the daytime.
In general we offer no dives on arrival day.
On 7D/6N cruises we plan for 18 dives.
On 10D/9N cruises we plan for 27 dives.
On 12D/11N cruises we plan for 30 dives.
We offer land excursions depending on our guests` request and opportunity.

Please note that all itineraries and dive sites are subject to various unpredictable changes, including weather changes and changes in local and national government approval. We will make every effort to select the best available sites on all cruises.

Divers should obey a 24hrs no-flight time between the last dive of the cruise and boarding an aircraft. Plan your continuing voyage accordingly.

A TYPICAL SCHEDULE FOR A CRUISE
Departure Day: We meet you in the morning, you move in to your cabin, arrange your dive gear, do some paperwork, have lunch and we weigh the anchor for a new adventure. Depending on the particular cruise there may be a dive in the afternoon.
2. Day We have 3 dives at 7:00, 11:00 and 15:00
3. Day We have 4 dives at 7:00, 11:00, 15:00 and our first night dive at 19:00
4. Day We have 3 dives at 7:00, 11:00 and 15:00
5. Day We have 4 dives at 7:00, 11:00, 15:00 and our second night dive at 19:00
6. Day We have 3 dives at 7:00, 11:00, and 15:00
7. Arrival Day: We enjoy a leisurely cruise through the islands and return to port at noon.
On longer cruises the additional days are similar to day 2 to 6.

Proof of certification is required, please carry your certification card or an electronic equivalent.
We offer a full range of rental diving gear. Please let us know what you need when you make a booking.
We ask every diver to use a personal dive computer on every dive. If you do not own a computer, you are welcome to rent one from us.
